Doctoral Study Income

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES TO STUDENT'S EMPLOYMENT FOR THOSE RECEIVING A DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIP UNDER THE AMENDED HIGHER EDUCATION ACT

(adjustments to a student’s employment, including workload, salary, contract duration, and other related matters.)

Any changes to the terms under which the scholarship was granted must be communicated immediately.


Starting with the academic year 2025/2026, students in full-time doctoral study are guaranteed a doctoral study income amounting to 1.2 times the minimum wage, in accordance with the Amendment to the Higher Education Act. This income consists of a combination of the doctoral scholarship and/or salary for creative research activity related to the dissertation.
