MU appoints new associate professors in a wide range of fields
A ceremony was held at the Augustinian Abbey on Mendel Square, during which newly habilitated academics from Masaryk University received their appointment decrees. A total of 14 experts from eight MU faculties successfully completed the habilitation (appointment) process.

Using chemistry to study Parkinson’s disease

The Dean of Masaryk University´s Faculty of Science for the next four years has been elected Luděk Bláha
In the second round of elections, Luděk Bláha, the current Vice Dean for Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Science, was elected as the candidate for Dean of the Faculty of Science. He received 18 out of 26 votes.
