Dean’s Awards 2025
Dean Tomáš Kašparovský ceremoniously presented the Dean’s Awards to the most successful students for their outstanding academic and scientific achievements. For 2025, eight laureates received awards within the category Best Student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Programme, and eleven promising scientists received awards in the category Best Student in a Doctoral Degree Programme.
This year's awards were also exceptional in that outstanding teachers were also honoured for the first time. This award expresses recognition for their extraordinary contribution to educational activities, inspiring students, supporting the academic environment and actively participating in scientific work.
We warmly congratulate all the award winners and thank them for their efforts, which contribute greatly to the reputation of our faculty.
“This meeting is an exceptional annual opportunity to highlight those who have achieved extraordinary success. Each such meeting is not only a celebration of the results achieved, but also a reminder that true quality and development arise in an environment of mutual inspiration and cooperation. Without high-quality teachers, it is impossible to develop skilled and talented students. At the same time, it is these students who inspire teachers to seek new ways of imparting knowledge and guiding future generations towards independent and critical thinking. This creates a symbiosis that is the basis for the functioning of any good university. It follows that mutual cooperation and respect are a prerequisite, not only for pushing the boundaries of knowledge but also for the development of society as a whole”, said Tomáš Kašparovský in his speech.
