Erasmus+ Applications for Staff – Spring Semester 2026

We would like to inform you that applications are now open for Erasmus+ stays in the spring semester of 2026.
A kindergarten for MU employee´s children close to campus
EDITED. We want to remind you of the possibility of registering your child in the MU Bohunice Children's Group, in which the MU Faculty of Science participates together with other faculties of the Campus. See below for more information.
We set up the child care group based on the previous requests from the faculty members provided in the analysis of how the faculty takes care of its employees. this analysis a part of the EU HR Award/HRS4R project that we have been together working on since 2018.
Detailed information for employees:
- The provider is a network of children’s groups and kindergartens, Elánek, http://elanek.eu/muni AND http://elanek.eu/sites/default/files/elanek-muni-eng.pdf.
- Primarily the Children Group is intended for children aged 18-36 months, who are usually not accepted to standard kindergartens.
- The address will be Rybnická 48, just at the trolleybus stop No. 25/26, 1 km (4 min) far from the Campus premises.
- Capacity od the group: 12 full-time places. This should cover a need for circa 25-30 children (we do not expect that most parents will use the Children Group services on a full-time basis).
- Thanks to a subsidy, we managed to get an affordable monthly fee (tariff). The cost without the subsidy would be circa 13 000,- CZK.

- The price above is for the whole month, i.e. regular attendance.
- Babysitting above the tariff is 60 CzK/hour – in case a child stays longer than the selected hours.
- The price for one-time babysitting for 4 hours/day is 480 CzK.
- The price does not include food – expected price for the food is 80 Kč/den (snack, lunch, snack).

Note: Currently, we are exploring, in cooperation with other MU faculties, a similar possibility close to Kotlářská premises.
