Habans – 405th Anniversary of the Přibice Bloodshed

In July of this year, we marked 405 years since one of the most tragic events associated with the end of Anabaptist settlement in South Moravia — the massacre of the Hutterites (Habans) in Přibice.

We warmly invite you to a commemorative event held on the occasion of this anniversary.
You are welcome to take part in a memorial ceremony for the victims of the massacre, a guided tour of the anthropological research of the Anabaptist burial site directly in the field, and the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the Anabaptist settlement of South Moravia and the ongoing research of the Přibice burial ground.
