Site Visit: the day HR got interesting
Summer in our HR team wasn’t about ice cream—it was about preparing for the Site Visit. How did we do when the evaluators came? And what does a day like that actually look like?
In May 2018, we have organized consultation workshops for researchers of all levels and positions (Researcher Focus Group Workshops), as a next step of the HR Award project at the Faculty of Science, with the aim to introduce the project and interactively collect researchers’ opinions.
All 40 Charter and Code principles were intensively discussed. Participants shared their views on the faculty’s research environment aspects - which they considered satisfactory, and also on other aspects - where they saw space for improvement or development. Their replies were processed in an anonymous way and represent important input for the Gap Analysis and Action Plan.
The consultation workshops were an introduction to ensure active involvement of faculty researchers in the HR Award project. Multiple follow up sessions will be conducted in the course of time.
