Career Restart project in dynamical systems and bifurcation theory: develop quantitative diagnostics for coupled oscillators by determining which descriptors, such as rotation numbers, relative phase shifts, and time-averaged outputs (for example, voltage), persist or change across bifurcations (Neimark–Sacker, limit point of cycles, period-doubling), including Arnold tongues interior and their internal routes to chaos. These invariants will connect qualitative bifurcation structure to measurable performance in devices and neural data, especially driven Josephson junctions and neuronal oscillators. I am a member of the Nonlinear Dynamics Team at Masaryk University. My distinct direction emphasizes rigorous numerical workflows and physics-facing applications of synchronization. I supervise and co-supervise students from bachelor to PhD. Career Restart support will secure time and partial independence to consolidate methods, establish reproducible toolchains, mentor juniors, and scale this agenda into a focused research program.
